These Community Standards define the behavioral expectations, acceptable conduct, prohibited activities, and platform values that all users, listeners, moderators, and community members must follow while using Listeners Connect.

Conversations intended to manipulate, emotionally harm, pressure, intimidate, or exploit others are strictly prohibited.

All communication on the platform must remain respectful and appropriate. Users and listeners are expected to:

Community members should avoid manipulating emotions, misleading vulnerable individuals, or creating false expectations during interactions.

Maintaining Healthy Boundaries

Users and listeners should avoid:

  • Excessive emotional dependency

Privacy violations may result in immediate disciplinary action.

External Contact and Off-Platform Communication

For safety, moderation, and privacy reasons, users and listeners should avoid sharing unnecessary personal contact details or moving conversations outside the platform without authorization.

This includes:

  • Phone numbers

  • Personal social media accounts

  • Home addresses

  • Private messaging applications

  • Financial account details

Listeners Connect may restrict or review suspicious attempts to bypass platform safety systems.

Prohibited Conduct

Harassment and Abuse

The following behavior is strictly prohibited:

  • Bullying or intimidation

  • Discrimination

  • Threats or violent language

  • Stalking behavior

Users and listeners must never exploit emotionally vulnerable individuals for personal, financial, emotional, or social gain.

Prohibited behavior includes:

  • Fraudulent promises

  • False medical or psychological claims

Listeners are expected to maintain professionalism, empathy, patience, and emotional responsibility during all sessions.

Listeners should:

  • Listen actively and respectfully

  • Avoid judging users

  • Maintain confidentiality

  • Respect emotional boundaries

  • Avoid manipulation or favoritism

  • Avoid creating dependency

  • Provide supportive conversation only within platform guidelines

Listeners must never misuse their role for personal benefit or emotional control.

No False Professional Claims

Listeners must not falsely claim to be licensed therapists, doctors, psychiatrists, lawyers, or certified professionals unless officially verified and legally authorized to provide such services.

Misleading users regarding qualifications or expertise is strictly prohibited.

Standards for Users

Responsible Platform Usage

Users are expected to use Listeners Connect responsibly and respectfully.

Users should:

  • Communicate honestly

  • Respect listener boundaries

  • Avoid abusive language

  • Avoid threatening or manipulative behavior

  • Follow platform rules

  • Use sessions for lawful and safe purposes

Users should also understand that listeners are human beings who deserve respect and emotional safety during conversations.

Repeated or severe violations may result in immediate permanent removal from the platform.
